5 years ago, we came across a small group of artists, who were wondering how to sell the few items they had managed to paint. It seemed to us a great pity that people with such imagination, talent a perseverance, should not have a platform from which to show their beautiful handiwork. In an endeavour to help these artists, and at the same time to help in the social upliftment of the community by creating employment, ‘Artists of Africa’ was born.
